This isn't a difficult recipe to make, but make sure you follow along, as one little whoopsie can turn these cookies into hockey pucks, and even though I'm Canadian I don't like eating what I shoot, eh!

Directions to Bake Reese Peanut Butter Cup Crunch Cookies

There's nothing more frustrating than trying to learn how to bake a delicious treat than having to do tons of different steps. More steps equal higher odds that you might fuck up and find your ending product not looking anything like what you thought or how it should appear.

Step 1

  • Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F—or for everyone not in the United States, 190 degrees C.

  • Sift together your flour, salt, instant coffee, and baking soda in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Once everything is sifted together, set that aside.

Step 2

  • Using a stand-up mixer, cream the butter, white sugar, peanut butter, and brown sugar together until it's fluffy and smooth.

  • Take your large egg, vanilla, and milk and beat together.

  • Add your flour mixture that we set aside, along with your crushed Reese peanut butter Bretzels, and mix them together well.

  • Take a large muffin tray (6 total muffins). Lightly grease each cavity on the pan with butter—remember you don't want to do all this work and find that cookie dough is now stuck to the pan.

  • Using an ice cream scoop, add two scoops to each cavity on your muffin tray. Depending on your scoopin' skills, you can massage the scoops together so your cookie comes out lookin' good!

Step 3

  • Bake your cookies at 375 degrees for about 12 minutes.

  • Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes

  • After your cookies have cooled, press 3 peanut butter cup into each cookie.

Step 4

  • Share them—or don't.

  • Eat half of one—or eat three.

Are Reese Peanut Butter Cup Crunch Cookies Good?

I guess it all comes down to what your definition of "good" is. So let me break it down!

The Taste

9.5/10

As I mentioned earlier in this post, I am a Reese Peanut Butter Cup addict. So much so, I should probably start a chapter of RPBCA (Reese Peanut Butter Cups Anonymous).

All kidding aside, the taste is the bomb on these cookies! The soft cookie center, with that salty crunch in every bite from the pretzels, is a party in your mouth. Then you get that full peanut butter cup which almost has you thinking you're eating the chocolate bar.

The Presentation

8/10

These cookies came out looking pretty sweet. They don't look like your average cookie due to their size. Cutting them down the middle lets you see those large cups and soft gooey insides!

Recommendation

10/10

Would I recommend you making and eating these cookies. Well, that answer is easy and I'll let our good friend David from Schitts Creek give you that answer. :)
